Pajumäe farm is chosen to be as an Estonian best farm as well as a best organic producer. Their cows eat most of the year fresh grass and in winter time special organic feed.
This ghee is made from Pajumäe unsalted organic butter. The process of creating traditional ghee includes simmering the butter on a low temperature along with the milk solids so that they caramelize, which makes it nutty-tasting and aromatic.
Ghee is an ideal fat for frying because its smoke point is 250 °C, which is well above typical cooking temperatures of around 200 °C and above that of most vegetable oils.
